Window Movie Maker Video Editing- How To Edit Or Create Videos in Window Movie Maker

Steps by Step Guide For Creating Video In Movie Maker

1. Open Window movie Maker (Go To start > All Program> Movie Maker (Click here to Download Window Movie Maker for Window 7)
2. Now Add Videos Or Images In Timeline by Clicking Add Videos Button then Select Pictures For which you want to create Video and then Press Open Button. As shown in Screenshot Below (we Are Adding Some Pictures To Timeline To Create Video from Pictures)

3. Now Select One Auto Themes in Auto themes Group In at home Tab as Shown in Snapshot Below( When You Select 2nd Option It will automatically ask To add Music On Background). Select Yes If you Want to add Music On Background Else Select No.(Now Theme and Background has Been Inserted into the timeline)

4. Now you Can See Some Text Credit is inserted Within Images Automatically after selecting Auto theme

5. You Can Edit and Delete Text Credit Insert By Just Clicking On It (These Are Auto Inserted Text Credits With Theme.
6. You Can Also Insert Text On Picture Or Anywhere in the Video By Just Click On Title, Caption and Credit in the Add group on home tab. (If You Click on Credit Drop down Button You can See a list of Credits like Credits, Director, starring, Location and Soundtrack). You Can Select Any Of Them Accordingly.

7. Now It is Time To Create Animation Effect on Pictures. Go To Animation Tab Select Any Animation Type and Then Click On Apply to all For Same Animation On each Image. (You Can Also Set Time Duration For You Picture Animation). Then Click On Play Button To Watch Animation Effect.

8. You Can Also Set Visual Effects in Visual Effect Tab (Select Any Effect in the list and See The Change in the Preview Pan)

9. Now I am adding Video at the Background Of All These Picture To Understand How To Cut Some Part Of the Video. Click Add Videos and Photos Button at Home Tab in add Group . (A Dialogue Box Appears) Choose Video From Your Computer Location and Then Click Open.

10.   Now Video is Added To Timeline. Move Your Cursor to The Part Of the Video From Where You Want To Remove. Then Go To Edit Tab And Select Split Option In the Editing Group

11. Now Move The Cursor To The Part Of The Video Up to Which You Want To Remove then Click Again Split Button In Editing Group.

12. Now Click On The Clip That You Have Split in Previous Step Then Press Delete Button with Keyboard.( Unwanted Part Of the Video Will Be Removed)
13. Now After Editing You Have to Save your Video On Computer. For This Click On Save Movie Button On Home Tab in Share Group. You Will See Various Formats To Save Your Video. Select One Of Them As Per Requirement.

14. Then Type Name For Video and Select Location Where You want To Save and Click Save To Save Video.

15. Your Video is Save At Desktop With Name "My Movie" in MPEG Format.
